Unlike a standard photo galleries that will show your actor headshots unthumbed, or improperly cropped and in original proportions which may not match the layout of your website, Web For Actors go above and beyond with every single photo that you send our way.
First of all, our algorithm will scan your images and try to locate your face on every photo you upload. This is helpful in identifying which edges need to be trimmed and how much. We will automatically center your face horizontally and do a small vertical offset from the bottom, if permitted, to simulate the proper face positioned as recommended by professional actor headshot photographers.
Once the right crop of the image is identified, each image is resized to multiple dimensions that may vary depending on the template you've selected, but none of the sizes are larger than 1200 pixels of width. All images are also compressed to allow for ultra fast loading without a loss of quality, and finally, each headshot photo is once again cropped into 8 by 10 proportion, which is a standard proportion for each actor headshot attached to your resume, preserving the right look that all of the casting directors are used to.
Uploading of the images is as easy as dragging them to your control panel, and managing them within is also much simpler than any other advanced technologies on the market. You will be able to sort each image, change titles and descriptions of each of your photo, add categories and assign them to your photos, and of course, sort photo categories as well.
